Supplier of the Week #3 – Nutcessity

Supplier of the Week – Where we celebrate the independent wholesale businesses of the Bristol Pound community.

For this week’s featured supplier we have Nutcessity, a business that makes organic nut, seed and coconut spreads. All their products are free from refined sugar, preservatives and oil.

Nutcessity was set up in 2016 by foodie Mike Duckworth, who says “I got itchy feet after finding that I much preferred to make my own to what was sold in the shops due to my preferences, my business degree and my peanut allergy.”

Today, Nutcessity supplies several Bristol Pound members across the city, such as Better Food, Zero Green and Harvest. Mike explains why he chooses to use £B in his business:

“Bristol is a unique city that seems to do things very much her own way – and Bristol Pound perfectly fits into this mould.”
